So, September was gone before I even knew it. I turned 30 in September so I feel like most of my energy went towards worrying about that. I also had an 80’s party and everyone dressed in their favorite 80s gear and it was so fun! So, I rounded up a list of my favorites that I used daily in September.
This Bumble and Bumble hair primer has helped my hair so much lately. I got the worst hair the day I found out I was pregnant. It almost immediately started falling out and breaking. I went to my hair dresser and she took out my blonde and went back closer to my natural dark color and cut close to 8 inches. That was a very hard pill to swallow, but I knew it needed to happen. I started using this and although I only wash my hair about twice a week (to avoid heat). This helps cut my drying time and also takes away a lot of the frizz. This baby wash smells AMAZING. I have so many bottles of Johnson and Johnson, and they smell nice as well, but the moment I smelled this I was sold. I have re-ordered it three times and can’t get enough of my baby post bath. It also doesn’t dry her skin and has not given any rashes or reaction.
My six month old just started a swim class at our local swim center. I just bought her regular Little Swimmers for her first class, but I noticed they just kept falling and holding more water in than keeping it out. So, I perused Amazon and purchased these swim diapers. They had great reviews and so far I am really loving them. They are cute and fun and also have tons of snaps to grow with her. For $12 you really can’t beat it.
In September, I embarked on a new journey with a sewing machine. I live in the South and things are always monogrammed here. I decided I would purchase this machine for myself. So far I am loving it. It has embroidery (read Monogramming) abilities as well as sewing machine. Having a little girl and lots of friends getting married I just feel like I will get a lot of use out of it!
I am obsessed with Bath and Body Works 3 wick candles. I honestly don’t know many people who aren’t! This season, they brought back my favorite candle, Sweater Weather. These candles really smell up an entire home and make my two story den smell so good. It is almost always burning in our home and makes fall feel so much more fallish! Bring on all the sweater weather.
So, there we have it. Five of my favorite things for the month of September. I can’t saying turning 30 will make the cut, but I am excited for this next phase of life. What are some of your favorites or must haves? Is Fall a favorite season of yours as well?
